Reasons for Male Patter Baldness Hair Loss

Hair loss or male pattern baldness as we call it happens when hair follicles do not regrow or produce new hair follicles at the normal rate. Typically every 5 years new hair will replace dying hair. When this does not happen anymore, you get hair loss.

Male pattern baldness follows a typical sequence or pattern. Hair loss can start in different areas but is usually at the temples in front of the head and the hair line gradually recedes back. Other patterns start in the back of the head in a thinning circle that will enlarge over time working towards the front.

Hair loss occurs for a variety of reasons. We shouldn't concern ourselves with the reasons as much as the solutions. There are many and a doctor can help diagnose your particular type of male patter baldness and the best approach to take.
